From the latest air purification and ventilation system to dog access & logistics, Wagging Lounge Dog Resort has the best of everything to ensure safety, cleanliness, and much more!
The well-planned facility allows us to offer you convenient and efficient services while your pets get pampered and taken care of. We also have a 1200 square foot outdoor play area with artificial grass, playground equipment, and kiddie pools where your pets can enjoy the outdoor amenities!

Meet The Wagging Lounge Owners
Meet Jimmy & Sumi Kim, Co-Owners and Operators
What's their story?
Jimmy and Sumi Kim have been dog lovers since childhood and started off dog-sitting for their friends and relatives in 2005. Being workaholics, they hardly traveled, and dog-sitting became a passion, with one dog becoming two and two becoming three and so forth.
Their home turned into a haven for dogs during holidays & weekends, and as years passed, they got an increasing number of inquiries. With the consistent inflow of inquiries, they decided to turn their passion into a profession, and Wagging Lounge Dog Resort was born.
Since childhood, Jimmy has been a proud Howard County resident with a short time away for college. The journey to care for pets started after 20 years of Management, Retail Business Operations, and Customer Service.
Educated at CATCH Canine Trainers Academy, he is a certified dog trainer, certified in Pro Dog Trainers Core Skill: Canine Training & Behavior, clicker training emphasis, and in Pet Health Academy First Aid & CPR.
Jimmy also served as Staff and Volunteer at Small Miracles Cat & Dog Rescue, Ellicott City. Wagging Lounge Dog Resort has the distinction of OPCLC Certification from the Outstanding Pet Care Learning Center.
WAGGING LOUNGE DOG RESORT has been in business since 2017 at the Columbia Location in Howard County Md.

I can't tell you how excited I am to open the doors of WAGGING LOUNGE DOG RESORT to the hometown I grew up in. MEET ITSY & the crew!
Our spunky Silky Terrier mix thinks anything edible is a treat. Itsy is a rescue from Small Miracles Cat & Dog Rescue. He knows a handful of commands, but his favorite tricks are "rollover" & "beg" as these always get him the biggest treat rewards. He loves dolls but was never a " tennis ball" guy. He's very independent but loves a cuddle once in a while. You can always spot his big ears and stubby tail. Itsy is a huge part of the inspiration that began our journey with WAGGING LOUNGE DOG RESORT.
